Tom is Having So Much Fun With His Tech Newsletter
Hey all,
I've really been having fun writing things for the new tech sub stack at techtom.substack.com. (Like TechTime but Tom) I know I need to spend more time prettying it up and doing things to make it better for generating subscriptions. But I'm always focused ont he content more than the trappings, to my own detriment.
And it's been a blast. It's pretty seamless going from writing up a topic for DTNS and then turning it into an article. And I've even got a little bit of pickup on Techmeme with some of the things I wrote. To the point that Jason Howell rang me up and brought me on Tech News Weekly to discuss my writeup of the DuckDuckGo - Microsoft privacy thing.
I can imagine some day when I'm old and lose my voice my newsletters are the only way I communicate with the world. Made that's morbid. I hope it doesn't happen. But it does feel like a pretty seamless integration into what I do.
And it's the thing I've enjoyed the most this week. I mean the Blues winning in OT to force a game 6 with Colorado was pretty close though.
Have a great weekend y'all.
Tom
