This Week in Tom Merritt - Issue #6
Hey folks,
I'm lucky enough to live in a part of the world that's reopened. In the last week I drove a friend's Tesla, meta friend at the famous Casa Vega for a margarita and some enchiladas, and made plans to meet another friend tonight who's driving across the country and happens to be passing through.
What's odd is that I expected to make all this "reopening" make me feel busier. Because of having all my time to myself at home I had to make time to drive somewhere and spend doing one thing, chatting with a friend.
But for me what I found out is that I spent that time doing things I apprently don't miss. Maybe I notice a little less time in my schedule. But I think mostly my podcast listening and TV watching took the hit.
Oh crap. Please don't be like me. Keep listening to podcasts!
Seriously. All this week we talked to fascinating people about how Accessibility is not only important but makes tech better.

RIGHT? Like those are fun topics. AI, video games. And I love Len's custom art for the Friday episode. A lot of credit goes to Roger Chang who put together the week. It was a lot of work to gather these gets and strike the right balance and he nailed it.
I had some other fun this week too.

I mean, I don't say it enough. But Molly is KILLING it on It's a Thing. Seriously. You must tune in if you at all want to feel like you want to know what's going on in mass culture. She has ways of knowing things, my friends.
Oh and still getting closer to the audio book! Very excited. If you didn't grab the first chapter yet you can still get it on my writing Patreon.
All right friends. Must prepare to see F9. It's about family. I hear.
Cheers,
