We were fooled

So what happened was…

Hi folks.

Remember last week when I explained why we were going to a Clippers game because Suga from BTS was supposed to be at that game?

tl;dr. He wasn’t.

Turns out the media report we relied on was incorrect and Suga only went to the Lakers game the night before. Mwahahahahahahahahaha. Ha.

Heh.

But here’s the thing. We had a blast! The seats were amazing. The Denver Nuggets were impressive and the game was just fun to watch. It was close most of the way into the 4th quarter. We got to walk around the outside of the court, like I was seeing the Greenville Comets play in high school or something. Steve Ballmer (former Microsoft CEO and owner of the Clippers) walked in and sat down diagonally from us. So we did see a star. There was a special area for food and they had lots of Korean stuff because it in fact was Korean Culture night.

And as I expected, we were in the shot for the ESPN broadcast. WabbitMagic from our DTNS Discord found me and sent me some awesome screen caps. One of Eileen’s co-workers was texting her “You’re in every shot!” Heh. At one point in the fourth quarter Eileen made a face heart and we had fun finding that on the DVR recording when we got home.

I have not one regret. Even if we didn’t see Suga. It’s not like we were going to go up and chat with him or anything. Best fact check failure ever.

And thanks to those of you who wrote in to say you understood what I said last week and supported us needing the break. It really did help.

I feel like I’m about to get busy. I have a meeting to plan DTNS for the year soon. I have a baptism about to be scheduled that I have to go be a godparent at. I have a couple trips coming up. So stay tuned. I may be coming into your area.
