Welcome to a new look Free Tom Newsletter
I've MOVED (Or rather the Newsletter has)
Hey folks,
I have switched newsletter services to use Revue. Why? Well, when I began the newsletter Mailchimp was the best around but it's really best for marketing. This newsletter is less about marketing and more about writing and community. So I decided to give Revue a whirl. This is the service recently bought by Twitter that will be incorporated into all of Twitter's creator-focused stuff. which is sort of interesting to spy on if I'm honest. But mostly I wanted a more writer-friendly format. So here we are!
Like I can do things like tell you I'll be hosting a book launch for long-time friend Christian Cantrell coming up on the evening of Wednsday May 26th and then the link just pops in like this:
Virtual Event - Christian Cantrell discussing Scorpion | Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore — www.mystgalaxy.com
Then I can say if you want to register for the event you can save a spot here:

I can apparently also add tweets I'm proud of?
Maybe proud wasn't the right word.... Anyway.I'm trying this out. Email me back and let me know what you think. Oh and also if you want an excerpt of my forthcoming book The Girl at the Bottom of the Lake, I wrote a new chapter for it that was needed during an edit and then posted it for patrons. Oh look I can do inline links too!
I am off to watch The Treasure fo the Sierra Madre. Because I'm making Brian watch that for Cordkillers. You can enjoy these links!
