Top 5 Tech News Stories of 2023

Hi folks,

Short newsletter this week as we head off into the holidays. This will likely be the last one until after the first.

As I mentioned last week we have family coming for Christmas! We never have that. In fact I’m pretty sure I have never hosted family on Christmas Day. Even when I was a kid it was always on Christmas Eve.

So tonight we have to wash blankets and rugs and then tomorrow afternoon get ready to play the floor is lava and monster with the nieces lol. Can’t wait. We have pandesol and an Ube pie on order. Just bought a ham yesterday for Christmas too. Keep an eye on my Instagram for pictures of that and all the other mountains of food I expect we will have.

We also reservations for Casa Vega on Christmas Eve. I have to say I’m pretty excited in a way I don’t think I would be if people weren’t coming.

But to business! Our Top 5 this week is the top stories of the year in tech. It’s a good episode!

Oh and for those asking about Sawyer the dog, he beat a second UTI but then started peeing in the house AGAIN. The next option would be to scan for kidney stones but even if we found out he had them he’s too old and too far into his heart condition to get any treatments. So he’s go diapers. Wears them a few hours a day in the most common times he has accidents. They’re reusable and comfy. He doesn’t love them but he doesn’t hate them.
