Tom's Taking a Class
Hey folks,
I’m a little sleepy. Lots going on this week, and my dog Sawyer had a little bought of something at 2:30 in the morning that required cleanup. And a vet appointment today. If you’ve heard of Giardia, seems like it’s something like that. Gross.
ANYWAY
I also got up early the past two days to train new folks on Daily Tech Headlines! We’re expanding that team which is very exciting. The first new voice comes Monday. Stay tuned! This was fun work but it still had me up a little earlier than usual.
And I also began taking a 5-week Korean course. I have homework. Homework is a lot different than it was when I was young. You didn’t need to record video then. It’s been a minute since I was in a class. But I love it and I’m already learning a lot more than I was on my own. I can even sort of type Hangul now. 안녕하세요!
I really typed that! It only took me five minutes.
I’m hoping I can improve enough to get around with some Korean when I visit Seoul the first couple weeks of September. That’s where Eileen and I are going on our 20th Anniversary trip! More details on that to come.
Oh and we recorded a great batch of Top 5s this week. Can’t wait for them to start hitting the old channel. If you’re enjoying them be sure to let Roger know on Twitter. I know, Twitter, but that’s where it’s easiest to find him. Maybe he should watch this Top 5 he edited and produced.
All right. Off to do my Korean homework and then maybe take a nap.
Who am I kidding? I only nap when I don’t want to.
