Hey folks,

Glad to be back home and extremely excited about some of the stuff I posted this week.

First of all, we launched the new season of Know a Little More and it is STELLAR. It’s all themed around the “Mother of All Demos” put on by Douglas Engelbart in 1968. And this week’s episode is around Engelbart’s shining achievement, the mouse. You probably used one today.

One of my favorite parts of the demo is when Engelabrt talks about calling it a mouse and apologizes to the audience for the silly name. Which we now don’t think twice about. Anyway his wasn’t the first and he didn’t make it popular but you’ll understand all fo that and why he’s credited with the invention when you listen to the episode.
