SNACKS!

Hey folks,

I’m about to head out of the door to head to San Jose for my niece’s 7th birthday. It’s the event of the season. I get to stand around with adults and watch June and her friends play in an indoor playground, then eat pizza. You know, it’s actually way more fun than that makes it sound. Look for my traditional picture on Instagram of June and I pretending to scream.

We’ll be turning around to come right back after the party tomorrow because our dog is so old. We just don’t want to leave him on his own for too long. Well, we don’t leave him on his own, we have people watch him. But we want to watch him. He has already defied all our expectations hitting 15 years old, but he has arthritis and to be honest needs a little more outside time than he used to, if you know what I mean.

Then we’re back for the rest of the year. Hosting Eileen’s family for Thanksgiving next weekend. Which means I have to finish the shopping on Sunday! The family is bringing loads of food but we have a turkey breast and at least stuffing to provide. Though Eileen is making noises about doing a bolognese as well. Look on Instagram for those pics too!
