Say 안녕하세요 to the Android Faithful

Hey folks,

Fun week!

I finished my Advanced Beginner Korean course on Tuesday and I really feel like I made significant progress. I can understand a lot more of what I hear on shows and occasionally find myself involuntarily translating something I’m about to say in English into Korean. That is something I always start to do when I’m really learning a language.

I’m definitely taking the Pro Beginner Course, which is ten weeks long but I have a feeling it will pay off. And I’ll be In Korea halfway through the course, so I’ll get to put my progress to the test!

My sister was back in town for a day on her way back form Australia and we went to jazz night at the LA County Museum of Art, aka LACMA. They set up a stage outside in the courtyard between the museum buildings and play jazz. It’s free to attend, though we ended up getting a seat at the bar and chowing down. I had the cacio e pepe. So good.

No Top 5 this week. We’ll knock out a few more soon. But we do have the launch of Android Faithful! If you haven’t checked it out yet please do!

Tonight I’m apparently going to listen to a yacht rock band. Our mutual friend has got very into this. It’s a whole thing. Let me know if you need a report on that. Probably something in there for It’s a Thing too.

Now back to the weekend. Maybe we should go see Mission Impossible.
