Hi,
As I head into Easter weekend in the US, I face two major challenges.
One of them is the one day we picked to drive down to San Diego and meet our amazing nieces, it decided to rain. I believe the weather forecast is as follows.
“100% chance of rain the minute Tom and Eileen hit the road moving south from Los Angeles to San Diego and then back. Rain should end Sunday afternoon when Tom and Eileen get home and don’t need to drive anymore.”
It was oddly specific.
The second challenge is not freaking out that the book is still less than 50% funded. They tell me this is perfectly natural. It happens to everyone. There’s no need to panic.
But I’m Panicking.
So here’s what I’m doing. I will give you all an excerpt from the book NOW, if we’re past 50% funding by next week. You know what to do.
(And thanks to everyone who already did!)
OK. Now to drive in the rain for three hours. Whee!
Oh and how often do you think of the Roman Empire? Me either. But apparently a lot of folks do. So we decided to look around and see if there’s any Roman tech still in use today. Turns out there’s five!
Thanks all. Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
Tom
Happy Easter, Tom! I’ve set the Buffer account of my @WhatTheIFshow profile on X (21.6k followers) to tweet once a day for the next week about the book! 7 tweets, written by Google Gemini (I think they look good). 😉 Hope it helps, you deserve it. Psyched for the book!
