Hello folks,
This week was.. stressful. But also joyful. Seven the dog (now on Instagram @seventhegooddog ) is a lot of work. We knew that of course so we’re not shocked. But he also is very bitey. Puppies are bitey of course. We knew that. But man. Is this one bitey. Whew. My hands are burning.
He’s also crazy smart. We’ve had him a week, he’s now 9 weeks old but he knows sit and down almost perfect and is pretty good at come. Haven’t started stay yet. House breaking is 80% there. He knows to go outside and he wants to but a couple of times he just decided to see if that was really true I guess.
He’s also nervous around noise. The first couple of days I took him out on a walk and got him to go a few doors down the street. But since then he’s gotten more skittish so we’re having to work back up to it.
This weekend we’re trying out a couple of puppy training classes. That will help us more than it will help him but it will be good to socialize him with other pups too.
There is more on this earth than puppies
As I was in the puppy picture posting frenzy this past week I started to think I should cut back. Then SimonBodger on Instagram wrote “If you are ever concerned you’re posting too many pics of Sev, please note that there is no such thing as too many pictures of Sev. In fact, please post more.”
Well that made me feel better. But, ah! It is the internet. No one opinion is all opinion.
But then I checked in on the dailytechnewsshow.com/survey responses and saw this in response to the “What’s one complaint you have about DTNS” question. “extended periods talking about dogs/pets.”
So for those of you wanting less dog talk. Here’s this week’s Top 5! It’s the top5 of my favorite books on. the shelf behind me when I sttream!
And for the rest of you. New Sev pics!
I'm in the "no such thing as too much puppy" camp. Every dog photo and video I see adds happiness to my day.
