Hey folks,
First of all, the really good news. All that testing I did last Saturday turns out to have been to tell me good news. Yay! Just got to keep checking that it stays good.
Second, the 4DX theater thing was really interesting. They have buttons at the seats that let you turn water on and off. Although there was no water in our showing cause I left it on. The sync with the trailer for Ant Man and for Shazm was great! And for the conert it was fun but maybe a little overused. I don’t need to bounce on *every* beat of *every* song.
This week I did a lot. VERY busy.
I recorded three episodes of “A Word with Tom Merritt.” So look for episodes in the next few weeks with former BBC correspondent and driving force behind CodaStory.com, Natalia Antelava, pilot and solar enthusiast Captain Brian Hoffman, and St. Louis Post-Dispatch Baseball Writer Derrick Goold.
I also guest hosted on a show called The Alarmist. Such a great show! They break down a tragedy and try to figure out who was at fault. And man the topic on this one is a doozy, but they handled it so well. I was happy they included me in the talk. Should be out in a couple weeks. More to come on that.
And I sat down with Ken Ray from the Daily Observations podcast to sum up all the AI news of the week.
It was SUCH a busy week, I feel like I recorded the latest East Meets West with Roger Chang last week. But it was just on Sunday!
All in all I recorded 13 episodes of podcasts this week.
And now I fly up to San Jose for my niece’s baptism. I can’t wait.
Have a great weekend y’all!
Tom
