Happy Holidays from Tom Merritt
Happy holidays folks,
And thank you. It's been a rough year for many of us. Some a lot rougher than others. But I know that even as rough as it's been, it would have been rougher if we hadn't been able to get together on podcasts and Discords and the like and distrtract ourselves or even inform ourselves and make the day a little better, at least for awhile.
Next week most of the shows I do will be taking a break to recharge for 2022. Thanks for letting us do that. We worked hard on DTNS to create some special episodes for you so look for those in the feed and thank Joe, Roger and Amos for doing all the logistical work to get them out there.
I'll be around on the Diamond Club Streamathon on December 31st as well with Sarah Lane for Good Year Internet! No one should have to spend New Year's Eve alone. Every year, Ritual Misery presents the Diamond Club New Year's Eve Streamathon, 27 hours of raising money for sick kids through extra-life.org. Join us on New Year's Eve at 2330 UTC/1530 Pacific for Good Year Internet!
Find all the details, including the full schedule, at ritualmisery.com/streamathon
And a couple other quick notes.
The latest episode in the Girl at the Bottom of the Lake podcast is out on my writer's Patreon at www.patreon.com/posts/chapters-45-48-60223886
And I know a lot of folks are still trying to make sense of the Log4J vulnerability, aka log4shell. I've got a top level explainer out. It's first up in the list below.
I'm off to eat some pumpkin pie, watch some TV shows with my wife, and open presents over video chat with the fam. I hope your holidays are warm, safe and as happy as they can be.
Merry Christmas,
Tom
