Happiest of Holidays form Tom Merritt

Hey folks,

I’m wrapping up everything for the year now. So I just wanted to send a brief note to say thanks for supporting the things I do all year long. I’m extremely lucky to have you, the bosses, to make doing what I enjoy possible.

I’m about to record our last DTNS of the year. We’ll have some previouslay recorded specials out next week but this is the last one live on Twitch. Patrick Norton is on, with some other special guests likely to show up, and we’re doing mostly Q&As. I mean also that Lastpass debacle, but mostly Q&As. So it should be fun!

After that I fully intend to put on my top hat and read A Christmas Carol live on Twitch for as long as I can stand it. Possibly all the way through! My idea is to stop down at the odd turns of phrase and weird contemporary references and look them up. So it might take too long to make it all the way through. Anyway keep an eye out for that on twitch.tv/gooddayinternet.

And then it’s time to relax. Kind of. There’s always something of course. rich might need someone to cover for DTH. A CES matter might need attention. Some invoice or other may need paying. But mostly its relaxing.

Rey the Dog Update

Some of you asked how Rey the dog is doing so I’ll give a quick update. Mostly OK. Her cancer is past where we can trat it with chemo anymore and honsetly, klast Friday it looked like we were going to have to say goodbye. Then she had fried chciken. Seriously. Because I would have given her wahtever she wanted that night, Friday night I gave her like a 1/3 of the fried chicken we bought.

Next day she was up and at ‘em as if nothing had happened. Her appetite has been volatile. Nothing int he morning and ravenous in the evening. She’s picky about what she eats and we need to not go overboard or her stomach can’t handle it. But she’s here. Getting mad at aquireels and sitting in the studio “producing” my shows. So thanks for all the well wishes. Maybe that’s what’s helping. But bonus Rey time continues!

Next year I’ll figure out how to make links in here work closer to the way it did in Revue. right now I’m just punting on doign them by hand. So thanks for your patience.
